Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care Services

Most often, after an initial diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or a related dementia illness, families are faced with difficult decisions about providing care for their loved one. Working parents with children are faced with new stresses to balance work and family. Families who are separated by great distances must make hard choices about how to provide dementia or Alzheimer’s care services. Sometimes nursing homes or special care retirement centers seem to be the only option. You do have a choice and we can help.

At Adelphia Angels, we don’t take a cookie-cutter approach to Alzheimer’s and Dementia care. We believe in offering choices and we can customize a care plan to meet your loved one’s needs. Basic Alzheimer’s and dementia education is available to all our caregivers as part of our internal training program. We want our caregivers to understand that although Alzheimer’s and dementia may share many of the same symptoms, they are not the same condition with two different names. After completing the training session and successfully passing the examination, caregivers receive a dementia care certificate and a specialty in Alzheimer care certification.

Adelphia Angels Alzheimer’s and Dementia care services allow your loved one to maintain the independence of their daily routines and familiar surroundings. We can help your loved one avoid the emotional trauma of leaving their cherished home while helping cope with the Alzheimer’s and dementia illness, and providing the respite care so important for the family.
